The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers into the community.

SASSA might be rendering companies which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency mentioned it really is alarmed with regard to the superior range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some higher number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office focused on service the area every day. The service place developed for intervention experiences a significant influx of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it complicated to the Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more methods to allow the servicing of all shoppers and boost usage of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
